Hydroxy Methyl Butyrate (HMB) is a molecule found in normal body biochemistry that occurs naturally as a metabolite (break-down product) of the Branched-Chain Amino Acid (BCAA) Leucine. When muscles do work, Leucine breaks out of muscle protein and is metabolized into HMB, which returns to the muscle cell machinery with an ingenious signal that muscular breakdown should be limited and rebuilding enhanced. Thus, HMB acts as “Leucine support” and is a critical component of recovery in the endurance athlete. Whether “massive gains” are achieved is dependent on workout, overall diet, and a hundred other factors. At Strenduro, we focus on supporting strong endurance, not physique.
Creatine is a naturally-occuring biochemical that your body produces and it is not a synthetic anabolic steroid, and it is also not a SARM. It is made from the amino acids Arginine, Glycine and Methionine. It is not involved in muscle growth and repair signaling. It is responsible for maintaining stable pH in working muscle, managing acid by scavenging phosphate and recycling ATP.
The primary bitterness is caused by Calcium HMB.
